One 90-minute service: Sundays 6 PM

We've been an evening congregation for almost as long as the Bible has been around. (OK, maybe not quite that long) Lately we've been worshipping between 25-35 people on a Sunday.

Sermons: A 20-30 minute teaching sermon is offered by a rotating panel of speakers from within our church and also from churches around Southern California. The diversity offered by having various people preach exposes our congregation to different speaking styles, life experiences and a broad range of spiritual backgrounds from within the Christian faith. You won't be stuck listening to the same person over and over again. Instead, you will have the chance to be challenged, touched by, and bear witness to the many ways Holy Spirit connects through the wisdom offered by an ecclectic group of God-loving Jesus followers.

Music: You can expect our service to have a blend of traditional hymns and contemporary worship led by a growing worship team that uses vocalists, piano, keyboards and acoustic guitar. We're hoping to add drums soon and are always looking for new musicians to join us and share their love of worship through music.

Open Communion: MCC churches all over the world serve an open communion every Sunday. This means that you do not have to be a member of our church or any church to participate. A short prayer is offered for each person that wishes to partake of the elements.

Sanctuary: We worship in a comfortable, modern sanctuary with padded chairs placed wide, not deep, so that people are never more than 100 feet from the speaker and musicians. Our intimate setting also has dedicated space for wheelchairs and walkers, so that we can always accommodate those who prefer to bring their own place to sit.

Dogs: Well-behaved dogs are welcome. If the owners get rowdy, the dogs may need to take them outside to let out some energy. ;-)

Post-Service Fellowship: All are welcome to stick around after church and share a meal together. This has been a long-standing tradition of our church and is well-loved by visitors and regulars alike. Because this meal is pot-luck, two meals are never the same. Anyone is welcome to bring something to share and sometimes you might be sent home with left-overs!

More Jesus... More Love... More Equality...

“A new commandment I give to you is love one another.
All will know that you are my disciples if you have love for one another.”

(John 13:34-35)
